Out & About Video--1920s-30s Star Marion Davies and the Annenberg Beach House

The pilot episode of GlamAmor's Out & About video series is now live!  Out & About takes you to visit people and places around Southern California whose history reflects my passion for classic cinema and its incredible style.  Our first trip is to the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica to learn more about 1920s and 30s screen star Marion Davies and the story behind her beautiful former beachfront estate built by William Randolph Hearst.

Stay tuned for companion posts coming up next on GlamAmor with even more details about Marion's life and the extraordinary Annenberg Beach House.  Until then, I hope you enjoy the show!

Very interesting piece! I'll definitely have to check out the Annenberg Beach House next time I visit LA.

Well, Kimberly, this is a delight! You did a masterful job of editing, interviewing and bringing to your fans and followers a piece of Hollywood history that's little known today. I'm sooooo glad you shared this and am very much looking forward to reading and learning more about the much-maligned Marion. GREAT job, my friend! I put it up on my FB page so that my friends can get to know you and I'll post it on www.moviestarmakeover.blogspot.com as well. I'm so proud of you!
Warmly and admiringly,
Kay
