GlamAmor Vintage Collection

For several years, GlamAmor was known as a retail collection of boutique vintage.  Its recognizable classic and colorful designs were a frequent feature at many of the finest vintage shows around Los Angeles, such as A Current Affair where stylists, socialites, and stars all go to shop.  Some of my collection--both past and present--is shown here, and currently includes accessories and clothing from the 1940s to the 1980s.

Things have evolved since its inception, and GlamAmor is now more about the education of the History of Fashion in Film.  As a Professor and frequent Guest Speaker on the subject, I almost always bring vintage with me to illustrate fashion's connection to classic cinema and ongoing influence of its iconic costume design.  Thus, the GlamAmor Vintage Collection has become one of study and inspiration.  I may eventually return to actively collecting and, if I do, I would want to include costume design as well.

Though not every item from the curated collection is included in the photos here, you will learn my aesthetic and see how many pieces have some connection to the History of Fashion in Film.  Look for influences in design, such as Eva Marie Saint and Edith Head, Lana Turner and Irene, and Audrey Hepburn and Hubert de Givenchy (at bottom).
