GlamAmor's Going to the TCM Classic Film Festival April 28th - May 1st

The TCM Classic Film Festival is coming up soon and I couldn't be more excited.  They've recently posted some of the film program and there are really outstanding choices, including several with standout style:
  • Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's
  • Marcello Mastroianni in La Dolce Vita (newly restored version presented in partnership with Gucci)
  • Faye Dunaway in Network
  • Natalie Wood in Westside Story
  • Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron in An American in Paris
  • Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in Shall We Dance?
  • Marlon Brando in Streetcar Named Desire
  • Lena Horne in Cabin in the Sky
  • Diane Keaton and Warren Beatty in Reds
The movies will be shown in the theaters where many were originally run--such as Grauman's Chinese and Egyptian theaters--so it will be thrilling to attend.  The equally historic Roosevelt Hotel will be the center of the festival and some of the special guests speaking will include Leslie Caron, Debbie Reynolds, Alec Baldwin, and Warren Beatty.  Can't wait to get the opportunity to see and hear it all!

The TCM Classic Film Festival takes place April 28th through May 1st and tickets are nearly sold out.  If you're interested in attending, be sure to visit Turner Classic Movies for all the festival pass information.  See you at the movies!
