Yesterday I was interviewed by Turner Classic Movie's Scott McGee for an upcoming TCM podcast! It was great fun, especially for a cinephile such as myself. Our talk centered around movies from their July schedule that feature the talent of one of my favorite designers of all time, the late great Helen Rose. We had a wonderful conversation about her and three classics that really showcase her signature style--Mogambo (1953), Butterfield 8 (1960), and The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1962).
Here is when each will appear on TCM (check your local listings):
Sunday, July 10 9:00 AM Butterfield 8
Wednesday, July 13 8:00 PM The Courtship of Eddie's Father
Saturday, July 16 7:15 PM Mogambo
The podcast will post online around the second week in July in connection with the movies' airdates. I will also be doing a companion blog to the podcast since there's even more fun stuff to share. Look for both coming soon on GlamAmor and a huge thanks to everyone at TCM!
