In the second event of the Film Noir Style series, I will present and discuss the impact of World War II on the home front and fashion along with six films from this period - This Gun for Hire (1942); Double Indemnity (1944); Laura (1944); To Have and Have Not (1944); Murder, My Sweet (1944); and Mildred Pierce (1945).
